Protecting the Panel Inlet

The drain on the panel
A Powersafe panel drain is the fixed connector with a female contact inside a male insulator; in Phase 3's description, drains usually receive the connection while sources are usually the live end. Panel drains are flange mounted on equipment and wired at the back through an M12 threaded post to a standard cable lug.

Powersafe's IP67 rating is for a coupled source and drain. When the line source is removed, the panel drain face is exposed.
