Where T8 Differs From T5

Copper for the higher rating
Phase 3 builds its panel sockets in two ratings. The T5 sockets are brass with silver plating; the 800A T8 sockets, including the SPD0015, are made from copper with silver plating. Everything a fitter handles stays the same: an M12 post, four flange holes and a panel gasket.

Earth keyed, and locked when mated
The Earth key on this drain admits a Powersafe Earth source and nothing else, so a phase or neutral lead cannot be pushed in by mistake. Green marks it as the Earth position on the panel. A bayonet action couples the pair, then secondary locking keeps them joined until the release key is used.
