The Powersafe SLS0015 is the Earth source in Powersafe's 800A Powerlock-compatible series, crimped to 240mm² copper cable. Green and Earth keyed, it provides the supply-side earth connection for high-capacity single pole power sets.

The Earth Path at 800A Scale

A matched pair with the drain
Powersafe connections are made between a source and a drain of the same key. The SLS0015 is Earth keyed, so its counterpart is a Powersafe Earth drain: the SLD0015 line drain for 240mm² cable, another Earth line drain, or an Earth panel drain. It cannot be coupled to a phase or neutral.

What the 800A series means
In the Powersafe range, 240mm² and 300mm² cable sizes get the 800A connector. Its contact is built from 29 transfer bridges of 30A apiece, which comes to 870A per contact. Read 800A as the maximum continuous rating: Phase 3 qualifies it by cable choice and environmental factors.

Source-end safety
Phase 3 treats the source as the half that is usually live. For that reason the male contact is shrouded by a female insulator and is finger-proof to IP2X whenever the connector is apart. Mating engages a secondary lock that is opened only with a release key, and the mated pair is IP67 rated.
