The Powersafe SLS0006 is the black Neutral source in a Powerlock-compatible single pole set. It is the feeding half of the neutral connection, with a male contact shielded by a female insulator and a set screw termination for 120mm² or 150mm² copper cable.

The Feeding Side of the Neutral

Source gender in practice
In the Powersafe system a source connector is usually the live end, and a drain usually receives the connection. That is why the source's male contact is recessed in a female insulator and finger-proof to IP2X when nothing is plugged in. Matched with its drain, the connection is IP67 rated.

Keyed to neutral
Black appears on more than one line in different Powersafe colour schemes, so rely on the key. The SLS0006 is keyed Neutral: it couples with a Powersafe Neutral drain, cable or panel mounted, and nothing else. On coupling, a secondary lock engages and stays engaged until the release key is used.

No crimp tool needed

• Take 33mm of insulation off the cable
• Use a 5mm Allen bit on the set screws: 10.5 Nm minimum
• Finish with 11 Nm on the gland's body and dome nut
• Add reduction sleeves (sold separately) for cable from 25mm² to 95mm²

Use copper conductors only. Phase 3 specifies installation, inspection and maintenance by qualified electricians only, in accordance with local electrical codes.
