Safe Handling of a Live Phase End

Finger-proof where it counts
Phase 3 describes source connectors as usually the live end of the connection. On the SLS0007 the contact cannot be touched with a finger when the connector is uncoupled (IP2X), and once it is joined to its drain the connection is sealed to IP67 against water and dust.

L1 only
Each line in a Powersafe set has its own mechanical key. This source will enter a Powersafe Line 1 drain, on a lead or a panel, and no other connector, which keeps the phase sequence intact across every hook-up. A release key is needed to open the secondary lock that engages on mating.

Fitting the cable

• 33mm insulation strip length
• 5mm Allen bit; set screws to a minimum of 10.5 Nm
