The Powersafe SLD0052 is the white Line 2 drain in a Powerlock-compatible single pole set, sized for 185mm² copper cable. Hydraulic crimping gives a permanent contact termination for heavy-gauge phase conductors in temporary three phase power runs.

Keeping the Middle Phase Where It Belongs

Every Powersafe line has a dedicated mechanical key. The SLD0052 couples only with a Powersafe Line 2 source connector, in line or panel version, so L2 cannot be confused with L1, L3, neutral or earth when a set goes together. Once engaged, a secondary lock keeps it mated until a release key is used, so it cannot be separated accidentally under load.

Crimp termination for 185mm²
Phase 3 calls for a hexagonal die set in a hydraulic tool on its crimp contacts, with three evenly spaced crimps on the 185mm² barrel to achieve the maximum crimped surface area. As the drain, this end normally receives power and is not live when disconnected; the uncoupled contact is IP2X finger-proof and the body is rated IP67.

• Expose 43mm of conductor
• Crimp with the ME 37 die in an HT 131-C or B 131-C hydraulic tool
• Apply three crimps at equal spacing along the contact barrel
• Do up the gland's dome nut and body to 11 Nm
