What Is in the Kit
Sleeves from R95 to R16
Each sleeve in the kit is also listed on its own by the supplier: R95 (PP00006), R70 (SCP0129), R50 (SCP0130), R35 (SCP0131), R25 (SCP0157) and R16 (PP00383). Together they take a Powersafe set screw contact from its 120mm² size down through every step to 16mm².
The rubber bush
The kit also contains the rubber bush made for the R16 reduction kit (PP01626), sized for an insulation outside diameter of 5.5–10.5mm.
- R95, R70, R50, R35, R25, R16 reduction sleeves
- Rubber bush, 5.5–10.5mm OD insulation
- No R120 sleeve is listed in the kit
How the sleeves go on
Under Phase 3's assembly guide, the sleeve sequence starts at R120 and continues through each size until the one matching the cable. The sleeves fit inside one another to form a gradual reduction span with their flared ends against the cable insulation. Cable and sleeves are then pushed fully into the contact and the set screws tightened with a 5mm Allen bit. The guide's own table runs from 95mm² to 25mm² and gives no strip length or set screw torque for 16mm² cable. Phase 3 treats its recommended procedure as essential to a sound set screw termination, limits the line connectors to copper conductors, and expects qualified electricians to install, inspect and maintain them within local and national electrical codes.
