The Powersafe SPS0016 is the Neutral panel source for 800A installations. Black and Neutral keyed, this Powerlock-compatible T8 connector puts a silver plated copper male contact inside a female insulator, and a lugged cable connects at its M12 threaded post.

Neutral Supply From the Panel

Matching drains only
Powersafe gives each position its own key, so a panel source only ever couples with a drain of the same position. A Powersafe Neutral line drain is the one connector the SPS0016 accepts; the Neutral key blocks Earth and line drains. Black is the Neutral colour, so the position is clear at a glance on the panel face. When mated, the bayonet lock is held by a secondary lock that needs the release key to undo.

T8 construction
For its 800A sockets Phase 3 uses copper with silver plating; the lower-rated T5 sockets are brass. The insulator around the contact is high impact and flame retardant, rated UL94-V0, with no glass in it. Phase 3 rates the connector for more than 500 mating cycles.
