The Powersafe SLS0055 feeds Line 2 in a Powerlock-compatible single pole set built on 185mm² copper cable. It is the white, L2-keyed source: a 500A connector with a crimped male contact that plugs into the matching Line 2 drain and locks.

Getting Line 2 to the Load

Source and drain as a pair
Every Powersafe line is made up of a source and a drain. The SLS0055 is the source half for Line 2 and its natural partner is the Powersafe Line 2 drain, such as a 185mm² line drain on the next lead or a panel drain on equipment. The L2 key means no other line will accept it.

Safety at the live end
Sources are usually the live end, so the male contact on the SLS0055 is enclosed by its insulator and cannot be touched by a finger (IP2X) while disconnected. On mating, the secondary lock engages; it takes a release key to separate the connectors, and the mated joint is IP67 rated.
