Beyond EV chargers, the 25A rating covers higher-draw single-phase ducted and split system air conditioners, large commercial kitchen appliances, and high-capacity dedicated circuits where 20A is insufficient. In each case, the Type A characteristic provides earth leakage protection compatible with the inverter and switch-mode electronics in modern equipment. Each circuit is protected independently — a trip on one doesn't affect any other.

Termination and Installation

Clips straight onto 35mm DIN rail. The pillar clamp terminal accepts rigid conductors up to 25mm² — no ferrules required. At 18mm wide (1 module), it occupies the same footprint as a single MCB. IP20 is appropriate for any enclosed switchboard or distribution enclosure. Operating temperature -5°C to 55°C.
