The Powersafe SPS0015 is the green Earth panel source rated 800A. A Powerlock-compatible T8 connector, it carries a silver plated copper contact in male form inside a female insulator, and its cable lands on an M12 threaded post behind the flange.

The 800A Earth, Source Side

Copper for 800A
Phase 3 builds two panel ratings. Its T5 sockets use brass with silver plating, and its 800A sockets, the SPS0015 among them, use copper with silver plating. Flange, gasket and M12 post termination are the same on both.

Earth keyed, source gendered
Its Earth key lets a Powersafe Earth line drain mate and keeps line and neutral drains out. Green marks the Earth position. As a source it is normally the live end of the connection, while the drain normally receives. With nothing plugged in it keeps IP2X protection; mated and locked, the pair is IP67.

Fixing to the panel

• Fix through the flange's four holes, gasket to the panel
• M6 threaded inserts in those holes allow front or rear fixing
• Remove nut and washer, fit the lug, refit both
• Tighten the nut to 12–14 Nm, no further

The bayonet lock is backed by a secondary lock, opened with the release key. Panel connectors leave Phase 3 assembled and ready to mount straight onto equipment, and field installation needs no special tools. The high impact insulator is flame retardant to UL94-V0 and uses no glass. Work on the connector, from installation to maintenance, should be done by a qualified electrician who follows local and national electrical codes.
