Earth connection for the largest Powersafe cable.

The Powersafe SLD0025 is the green Earth drain for 300mm² copper cable, the biggest conductor size in the Powerlock-compatible Powersafe line connector range. Its 800A series crimp contact gives the protective earth a permanent, keyed termination.

Earthing at the Top of the Range

The upper limit of the cable range
Powersafe line connectors cover single core cable from 25mm² to 300mm². Phase 3 supplies 800A connectors for the two largest sizes, 240mm² and 300mm². The contact reaches that level with 29 transfer bridges of 30A each, 870A in total, while the continuous current in service is subject to the cable and the environment.

Check your cable diameter
This version is supplied with the M40B gland, which clamps cable with an overall diameter of 22–32mm. Measure the outside diameter of your 300mm² cable before ordering, as it must fall inside that range for the gland to grip and seal.

Keyed earth with a locked connection
The Earth key means this drain mates with a Powersafe Earth source connector only, cable or panel type. A secondary lock holds the coupling and needs a release key to open.

• Conductor exposed: 43mm
• Die: ME 60 hexagonal, for the HT 131-C or B 131-C hydraulic tool
• Crimps: three, equidistant along the contact
• Gland body and dome nut: 11 Nm
