White tells you at a glance that this is Line 2. The mechanical key guarantees it: the SLS0029 seats in a Powersafe L2 drain, cable mounted or panel mounted, and in nothing else. Once seated, the secondary lock stops the pair separating until a release key is used.

Cable diameter matters
300mm² is the largest cable size for Powersafe line connectors. This version comes with the M40B gland, which clamps 22–32mm, so the overall diameter of the cable you choose needs to be within that range for the gland to seal and grip.

Source connectors and safety
Phase 3 notes that sources are usually the live end. The SLS0029 keeps its male contact IP2X finger-proof while uncoupled, and the mated connection carries an IP67 rating.

• Strip back so that 43mm of conductor shows
• Select the ME 60 hexagonal die
• Put three evenly spaced crimps on the contact with a hydraulic tool
• Fit the gland, applying 11 Nm at its body and at the dome nut

The contact accepts copper conductors only. Phase 3's two listed hydraulic tools (HT 131-C, B 131-C) both take this die, and it recommends a tensile test on the crimp.
