What to Know Before You Fit It

It is the source, and it is the neutral
Two things define where the SLS0026 goes. Gender: it is a source, the half with the male contact that is usually the live end. Key: it is cut for Neutral, so the only connector it joins is a Powersafe Neutral drain, in-line or panel mounted. Black on its own is not a reliable guide, as other Powersafe colour schemes use it for a phase.

The gland sets the cable limit
The M40B gland on this version clamps 22–32mm. Compare that with the overall diameter of your 300mm² cable before ordering, since the gland is what seals and anchors the cable.

Protection built in
Unmated, the contact is IP2X finger-proof. Mated, the pair is IP67 rated and held by a secondary lock that needs a release key.
