The Powersafe SLS0016 is the black Neutral source connector in the 800A Powerlock-compatible Powersafe series. Crimped to 240mm² copper cable, it gives the neutral the same capacity and the same keyed, locking connection as the phase connectors beside it.

Where it sits in the set
A three phase Powersafe set runs five lines, and each one needs a source and a drain. The SLS0016 is the source for the neutral. It couples to a Powersafe Neutral drain, on the next cable or on a panel, and its key rules out every other line. Go by the key and not the colour, since black is also used on other lines in some Powersafe colour schemes.

800A contact design
The 800A series serves 240mm² and 300mm² cable. Phase 3 achieves the rating with 29 transfer bridges on the contact at 30A each, 870A altogether, and states that the maximum continuous rating depends on cable choice and environmental factors.

Guarded and locked
Being the source, this is usually the live end. The male contact stays behind its insulator, finger-proof to IP2X, until it is mated; a secondary lock then holds the connection and only a release key opens it.
