The Powersafe SLD0030 is the blue Line 3 drain for 300mm² copper cable. It rounds out a Powerlock-compatible 800A set at the top of the Powersafe cable range, with a crimped contact, L3 keying and a locking coupling.

Finishing an 800A, 300mm² Set

One connector per line
A full three phase Powersafe set has an earth, a neutral and three lines, each with a unique key. The SLD0030 takes the Line 3 position and mates solely with a Powersafe L3 source connector, panel or cable mounted. Blue here means L3, not neutral, and the keying makes a mix-up physically impossible. A release key is required to undo the secondary lock once coupled.

Rating and cable
300mm² is one of the two cable sizes, with 240mm², that Phase 3 supplies as 800A connectors. Each contact has 29 transfer bridges rated 30A, giving 870A. Continuous current in practice is subject to cable choice and environmental factors.

Gland fit
The gland supplied is the M40B, clamping 22–32mm. Your cable's overall diameter has to sit in that range, so check it against the cable manufacturer's figure before purchase.

Copper is the only conductor material permitted. Installation and maintenance should be left to a licensed electrician following Australian wiring rules, with the crimp tensile tested.
