The Powersafe SLS0010 is the Line 3 source connector that completes the phases of a Powerlock-compatible 500A single pole set. Blue, L3 keyed and fitted with a guarded male contact, it clamps 120mm² or 150mm² copper cable under set screws instead of a crimp.

Closing Out the Three Phases

Blue is L3 on this connector
Blue can signal neutral in other wiring colour schemes, but the SLS0010 is the Line 3 connector and is keyed that way. It joins a Powersafe Line 3 drain only, cable mounted or panel mounted, so it cannot end up on the neutral or another phase. When the two halves meet, a secondary lock closes and is undone only with the release key.

Built as the live end
Phase 3 identifies the source as usually the live end of a connection. The contact is male but sits behind a female insulator with IP2X finger-proof protection, and the mated pair achieves IP67.

Set screw steps

• Remove 33mm of insulation from the cable end
• Seat the conductor fully in the contact
• Using a 5mm Allen bit, bring the set screws to 10.5 Nm or more
• Screw the gland on; its body and dome nut take 11 Nm
