Why it Matters

Both protective functions in one body

An RCBO carries out the work of two devices. Overcurrent protection and residual current detection sit inside the same enclosure, sharing one set of terminals and one operating handle. At 50 A that puts overload protection and earth leakage protection on the same three phase circuit under a single point of isolation.
