The SAL S9074TC/WH/DP is a 15W/20W dual-power recessed LED downlight with selectable colour temperature (3000K / 4000K / 5700K), a premium white powder-coated aluminium body, recessed opal polycarbonate diffuser, CA-90 insulation contact rating, IP64 moisture resistance, and a remote non-dimmable LED driver with flickerCONTROL technology and flex and plug — from the SAL Premier range. At 20W full power, the fitting delivers up to 1900 lm at 4000K from a 160mm cut-out, 200mm overall diameter fitting. The dual-power selector lets the installer choose between 15W economy and 20W full output; the CCT selector sets the colour temperature — all configured before commissioning.

The S9074TC/WH/DP has two configuration switches that must be set before the fitting is commissioned. The power selector chooses between 15W economy mode and 20W full output — allowing the installer to match the lumen output to the room size and ceiling height. The CCT selector sets the colour temperature: 3000K Warm White for residential living areas, dining rooms, and hospitality; 4000K Cool White for kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial offices — the most popular CCT for Australian residential and commercial applications; and 5700K Daylight for maximum visual clarity in commercial and retail environments. Once set, both selections are fixed until the fitting is de-energised and the switch is adjusted again.

The CA-90 insulation contact rating (IC-4 equivalent) means the fitting can be covered by standard thermal insulation batts in residential ceilings without creating a fire risk — eliminating the need for insulation clearance around the downlight. The IP64 rating provides full dust-tight protection and water splash resistance from any direction, making this fitting suitable for bathroom Zone 2 and Zone 3 installations, laundries, and covered exterior locations.
