Rated for AC22A duty at 80A to IEC 60947-3, it makes and breaks mixed resistive and inductive loads, backed by a 1.35kA making capacity and 0.96kA short-time withstand – suited to main-switch and sub-main isolation rather than automatic tripping.

Despite its 80A rating the SBR180 takes just one DIN module (17.5mm wide, 83mm high, 68mm deep) on standard 35mm rail. Its high-capacity terminals accept rigid conductors from 6 up to 50mm² and flexible from 6 up to 35mm² at a 3.6Nm tightening torque – the larger cable an 80A sub-main runs – while dissipating only 2.7W and lasting 40,000 mechanical operations.

With a 6kV rated impulse withstand voltage and IP20 protection, the SBR180 operates from -20°C to 70°C, covering meter boxes, plant rooms and enclosures across Australian conditions on standard 35mm DIN rail. Optional Hager accessories include the MZN175 padlockable locking kit for safe lock-off during isolation, MZN121 inter-pole barriers, MZN120 terminal shield and the ESC080 auxiliary contact.
