Description

Full 1P+N protection in a single slim module.

The Hager ADC925T switches and protects both active and neutral, yet occupies just one 17.7 mm module of DIN rail. It frees up board space where a conventional two-module 1P+N device would not fit, without dropping neutral switching.

Key Features

  • Hager ADC925T RCBO, 1 pole plus neutral, 1 module (17.7 mm) wide
  • 25 A rated current, C curve tripping characteristic
  • 30 mA rated residual operating current, Type A
  • 6 kA rated short circuit breaking capacity (Icn, IEC 60898-1)
  • 230 - 240 V AC rated operational voltage, 50 - 60 Hz
  • Non-sensitive line and load terminals - no rewiring when replacing another brand
  • Rated insulation voltage 440 V, impulse withstand 4 kV, energy limitation class 3
  • Screw terminal top, BIconnect bottom connection
  • Accepts 1 - 16 mm² solid or 1 - 10 mm² flexible conductors
  • Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail, IP2X rated
  • 20,000 mechanical operations, 10,000 electrical cycles
  • Manufactured to IEC 60898-1, RoHS conform

Neutral Switching, One Module

The ADC925T is a true 1P+N device: it switches and protects both the active and the neutral conductor. Traditionally that meant a two-module unit. This slimline design does it in a single 17.7 mm module, height 85 mm and depth 70 mm, freeing rail space in domestic switchboards and load centres and leaving more room for wiring inside the enclosure.

Fast Retrofit, No Rewiring

Both the line and load terminals are non-sensitive, so the device works regardless of supply orientation. When replacing an RCBO from another brand you can reuse the existing wiring rather than swapping active and neutral, which cuts fault-finding and install time on site.

Type A Earth Leakage Sensing

As a Type A RCBO the ADC925T detects both sinusoidal AC earth leakage and pulsating DC earth leakage, unlike Type AC which detects only the AC component. With switch mode power supplies, inverters and variable speed drives now common on Australian final circuits, Type A is the practical baseline for personal and fire protection. It trips at a rated residual current of 30 mA.

Rated for Australian Conditions

Rated operational voltage is 230 - 240 V at 50 - 60 Hz, matching the Australian supply, with a maximum operating voltage of 264 V. Hager publishes a full derating curve: 25 A at 30 °C ambient, 23.70 A at 40 °C and 21 A at 60 °C, relevant where meter boxes and plant rooms run hot. The device is rated to 2000 m altitude.

Q: Is the Hager ADC925T single pole or double pole?
A: It is a 1 pole plus neutral (1P+N) device that switches and protects both the active and neutral conductors, in a single 17.7 mm module. The single-pole ADC220 range protects the active only.

Q: Do I need to rewire when replacing another brand with the ADC925T?
A: No. The line and load terminals are non-sensitive, so the device operates regardless of which way the supply is connected. In most cases the existing wiring can be reused.

Q: What is the difference between the ADC925T and the ADD925T?
A: Both are 25A 1P+N 6kA 30mA Type A RCBOs. The ADC925T has a C curve for general circuits, while the ADD925T has a D curve for high-inrush loads such as motors and transformers.
