The Hager ADC220T combines overload, short circuit and earth leakage protection in one 17.8 mm wide device. It solves the oldest problem in switchboard work: finding rail space to add protection to an existing board without upgrading the enclosure.

One Module, No Board Upgrade

Most RCBOs eat two modules of rail. The ADC220T needs one. On a full domestic or light commercial board that is the difference between adding a circuit and replacing the enclosure. Height is 115 mm and depth 70 mm, so it sits within standard flush and surface switchboard cavities.

The top terminal is a conventional screw connection and the bottom uses Hager's BIconnect arrangement, so devices land in line with the rest of a Hager modular assembly rather than fighting it.

Type A Sensing for Electronic Loads

Type A residual current devices detect sinusoidal AC earth leakage and pulsating DC earth leakage. Type AC devices detect only the former. As switch mode power supplies, LED drivers, inverters and speed controllers spread through Australian homes and workplaces, Type A has become the practical baseline for final subcircuit protection. The ADC220T trips at 30 mA residual current.
