The SAL SES7080/2TC/WH is a 30W twin-head IP54 wall-mounted LED floodlight with integral PIR motion sensor, selectable colour temperature (3000K / 4000K / 5700K), and white aluminium body — from the SAL Stargem III range, designed for Australian residential exterior security and ambient lighting. Two independently adjustable 15W LED optical heads on a shared polycarbonate mounting base deliver 1200/1300/1250 lm per head at selectable CCT, with a 100° wide beam from each head. The factory-fitted PIR sensor provides 12m detection range, 120° detection angle, and manual override function. SES = PIR Sensor Included — Twin Heads, Two Zones, One Fitting

The "SES" prefix indicates this version includes an integral PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor, unlike the "SE" prefix non-PIR version. The twin-head design provides two independently adjustable optical heads, allowing the light output to be directed at two separate areas simultaneously — a driveway and a garden path, or two sides of a building entry — from a single wall mount point. The PIR sensor activates both heads on motion detection within its 12-metre range across a 120° horizontal arc. Manual override allows continuous-on operation during installation and testing. Adjustable hold-on time and lux level threshold settings let the installer calibrate the sensor to the site conditions.

Selectable CCT — 3000K, 4000K, or 5700K.

A DIP switch selects the colour temperature before installation with power off: 3000K Warm White for a warm, welcoming residential entry feel; 4000K Cool White for neutral, crisp security lighting suited to most Australian homes — the most popular CCT; 5700K Near Daylight for maximum colour contrast and CCTV suitability. Always switch power OFF before adjusting the CCT DIP switch — equipment damage may occur if switched while live.

IP54 and IK10 — built for exposed Australian exterior positions.

IP54 provides protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction — suited to standard Australian residential exterior wall positions under eaves and on building facades. IK10 provides the highest standard impact resistance, protecting against 20-joule mechanical impacts. The fitting is approved for vertical wall mount orientation only; horizontal mounting voids the IP54 rating and the fitting must not be exposed to water ingress in that orientation.

Q: What is the difference between SE and SES?
A: The SE prefix (e.g. SE7080/2TC/WH) indicates a version without a PIR sensor — always-on when the circuit is energised, or controlled by an external sensor or timer wired upstream. The SES prefix (e.g. SES7080/2TC/WH, this product) includes an integral PIR motion sensor with 12m range, adjustable settings, and manual override. Both share the same twin 15W adjustable heads, selectable CCT, white body, and 100° beam per head. The SE non-PIR version also carries IP65 (higher than the SES variant's IP54) due to the absence of the PIR sensor aperture.

Q: Can I mount this under an eave?
A: Only in a vertical wall mount orientation. Mounting horizontally (e.g. on the underside of an eave pointing straight down) voids the IP54 rating. In horizontal orientation, the fitting must not be exposed to any water ingress. Refer to the SAL installation instructions.

Q: Is a black version available?
