The SAL Stargem III SE7080/2TC/BK is a 2 x 15W (30W total) non-dimmable twin-head LED floodlight with selectable colour temperature (3000K / 4000K / 5700K), twin independently adjustable black aluminium optical heads, opal polycarbonate diffuser, and IP65 weatherproof rating — designed for residential and light commercial exterior flood lighting. Without an integral PIR sensor, the SE7080/2TC/BK operates as a switched floodlight — permanently on when the circuit is energised, or controlled by any external PIR, timer, photocell, or smart switch wired upstream. Two independently aimed 100° beams from a single wall mount deliver up to 2600 lm total at 4000K across two separately targeted zones.

The twin-head design is the SE7080/2TC/BK's practical advantage over single-head floodlights. Each 15W aluminium head pivots independently on its own trunnion bracket — so a single fitting at a building corner can illuminate the driveway with one head and the side path with the other, without a second fitting on a second wall. After mounting, loosen each head's trunnion, aim the 100° beam at the target area, and re-tighten. Because there is no integral PIR sensor, the installer has complete flexibility over what controls the fitting — a standard wall switch, a wired external PIR sensor at the installer's preferred location, an astronomical timer, a photocell dusk-to-dawn switch, or a smart switch for app or voice control. This is often preferred over the integral PIR of the SES variant for commercial applications or smart home installations where the control method needs to be independently specified.

IP65 — a meaningful step above the SES PIR variant.

Without the PIR sensor aperture in the polycarbonate base, the SE7080/2TC/BK achieves IP65 — fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. This is one full step above the IP54 of the SES PIR version, making this fitting appropriate for more exposed exterior positions including those directly subject to rain, garden irrigation, and hose spray. For all Stargem III products, vertical wall mounting is mandatory — horizontal mounting voids the IP65 rating per SAL installation instructions.

Selectable CCT — three colour temperatures, one part number.

The CCT selector sets the colour before installation with power off: 3000K Warm White for residential facades, entertainment areas, and properties where a warmer exterior ambience is preferred; 4000K Cool White for most residential and light commercial flood lighting — the most popular CCT for driveways, carports, and pathway lighting; and 5700K Near Daylight for maximum visual clarity and CCTV-monitored applications.

A: The SE7080/2TC/BK (this product) has no PIR sensor — IP65 rating, switched-circuit operation, external sensor flexibility.
