The Frisbee's 150–270mm flexible cut-out range is the key practical advantage for retrofit projects. Old incandescent ceiling rose fittings (typically 70–150mm opening), older fluorescent oysters (typically 200–260mm), and older incandescent oysters — the Frisbee covers nearly all of them without patching the old hole or fitting an adaptor plate. Simply drop the 300mm Frisbee into the existing ceiling opening, secure it, and it covers the gap cleanly. Alternatively, if there's no existing hole, it surface mounts flat on the ceiling. At just 25mm high, the profile is dramatically lower than traditional dome-style oysters (typically 60–90mm), sitting nearly flat against the ceiling surface for a clean, contemporary look in low-clearance hallways, bedrooms, and commercial spaces.

Dual power — set the output at installation.

The integral dual-power driver lets the installer select either 18W economy or 25W full output before energising. At 25W, the fitting delivers up to 2000 lm at 4000K — sufficient for most residential bedrooms and living areas from a single central fitting. At 18W, the fitting draws less energy while maintaining the same 110° wide beam distribution. This is a fixed power selection at installation, not continuous dimming — the DP driver does not support wall dimmer connection.
