The Red Smoke RRURF is a stand-alone RF relay unit that bridges your Red smoke alarm system to auxiliary devices. When any interconnected alarm detects smoke, the RRURF switches a relay – driving strobes, sirens, automatic diallers or other equipment. It receives alarm signals by RF or hardwired SDI, so it suits both wireless and cabled installs.

RF or Hardwired – Flexible Integration

Position the RRURF within RF range of a smoke alarm, or wire it via hardwired SDI to an existing interconnected system. It receives alarm and low-battery notifications either way, and sends notifications onward to auxiliary devices by hardwired SDI. That makes it a practical bridge for retrofits as well as new cabled installs.

Drive Auxiliary Devices

The volt-free relay is rated 250Vac at 5A resistive and can be set to continuous or pulse operation, so it can switch strobes for the hearing-impaired, external sirens, automatic diallers, or building management inputs. By default the relay energises when an interconnected alarm detects smoke and releases when the alarm clears.
