The MSN363R is a 63A three-pole miniature circuit breaker with a red toggle, the same protection as the standard MSN363 but with a distinctive red operating lever. The red toggle makes the device easy to identify in a populated board – commonly used to mark a three-phase main switch, sub-main feeder or a critical circuit that staff need to find quickly. Its three linked poles switch and protect all three phases as one, tripping automatically on overload or short circuit.

The C tripping characteristic trips on short circuit at 5 to 10 times rated current, the general-purpose curve suited to mixed resistive and inductive loads including the inrush of three-phase motors. Backed by a 6kA short-circuit breaking capacity to IEC 60898-1 and energy limiting class 3, the MSN363R limits let-through energy during a fault to help protect downstream cabling.

At three modules (52.5mm) wide, 83mm high and 70mm deep, the MSN363R clips onto standard 35mm DIN rail with 360° mounting flexibility, and its terminals take rigid conductors up to 35mm² at 2.8Nm. It is compliant with AS/NZS 60898.1, rated IP20, and operates from -25°C to 70°C to suit distribution boards and homes across Australian conditions. With 18.3W dissipation per pole at full load, allow for heat in tightly packed boards. Hager auxiliaries including the MZ201 auxiliary contact, MZ202 alarm contact and MZ203/MZ204 shunt trips are available.
