The Hager EHN011 is a single module analogue time switch with a 120 hour power reserve. After an outage the dial keeps running, so the schedule picks up where it left off instead of needing a reset. Everything else stays simple: a 24 hour dial, 15 minute segments, and a three-position mode switch.

Reserve or No Reserve: Which One You Need

What the 120 hours buys you
Hager states the reserve holds for roughly 120 hours at 230V. In practice that covers most outages without anyone needing to visit the board. Without a reserve, every blackout leaves the timer running behind by however long the supply was off, and the schedule silently drifts until someone notices. That matters most where the timed load is not obviously visible: heating, pumps, ventilation, or signage on a site nobody attends daily.

Loads it is built for
Hager positions the EHN011 for heating, lighting and other time-based loads in residential and commercial switchboards. Its rated maximums are 1000W incandescent or halogen and 300W of LED lamps above 2W, dropping to 30W for LED lamps of 2W or less. Fluorescent with electronic ballast is rated at 600W and compact fluorescent at 150W. As always with LED, check the driver inrush rather than assuming the filament figure applies.

• Operating temperature -10 to +50°C, which is a narrower cold range than the reserve-free EHN010.
• Clock drift is held within 1 second a day at most.
• Snaps onto TH 35-7.5 rail (DIN EN 60715), rated for installation below 2000m.
