Important Plug Compatibility Note:

The plug on this lead features a lock-ring designed to screw into industrial (IP-rated) screwed sockets. While it will still fit into standard domestic or commercial GPOs, the lock-ring occupies extra space and will typically render a neighbouring socket unusable. 

If you plan to use this lead with standard double GPOs or regular power boards, please select the "Lock-Ring Removed" option from the Plug Type drop-down menu (the ring must be removed by our team during assembly). This increases the space for neighbouring outlets. Note: The lock-ring will remain on the socket end of the lead. EV Charging Compatibility:

Our H07 rubber cable range is perfectly suited for EV charging. Because EV charging draws high, continuous power for extended periods, we strongly recommend selecting our largest conductor size (Heavy Duty / Extra Heavy Duty options) to minimise voltage drop and heat generation.

• Cable Specifications: cross-sectional area (CSA in mm2), Nominal Sheath Thickness (NST in mm), Max DC Resistance @20°C (MaxR in ohms/KM), Nominal Diameter (NOD in mm), Amperage rating (in accordance with AS/NZS 3008.1.1.2009 Table 14)

• Cable used to assemble some leads may occasionally vary based on availability at time of ordering. Electrical properties will be equal or better, with some physical attributes differing slightly (eg nominal diameter being larger by 10-15%).
• Typically used at events & temporary cabling, fairgrounds, sporting venues, for generators / motors / compressors / construction applications including portable equipment such as concrete cutting.

IMPORTANT: Avoid extra costs and fees of ordering the wrong product. Before you order: confirm the compatibility of the plug and sockets i.e. 5 Pin 32A, 5 Pin 20A, 5 Pin 10A etc. If you aren't sure, contact us, we are happy to help.

Switch Gear:

• All Plugs and Sockets are source from high quality reputable Australian brands, are IP66 rated and are compatible with all leading Australian switch gear.
• Plug end can be ordered with the lock ring removed (thus removing the IP66 rating of the plug) for use in power points and power boards where adjacent sockets would otherwise be unusable due to the size of the lock ring. Select this option under the Plug Type drop down menu.

Cable Properties:

• Leads are assembled using Multi Core Rubber Insulated and Sheathed Flexible Power Cable insulated with Ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) R-EP-90 90 deg C Conductor
• Conductors are Class 5 tinned copper according to AS/NZS 1125,IEC 60228
• H07 Grade Rubber Flex cable has a submersible rating of 200m (suitable for fresh water, salt water, sewage/contaminated water), is UV sunlight / oil / weather resistant and flame retardant to IEC 0332-1-2:2004,EN60332-1-2-2004.
• Outer jacket (black colour) made of Chlorinated Polyethylene, CPE rubber compound
