About the Tesla SW2/LDXN XL Large Dolly 2 Gang Switch

The SW2/LDXN puts two XL large dolly accessible rockers on a single plate — allowing two independent circuits to be switched from one wall position at the maximum accessible rocker size. Each of the two gang positions has the same XL dolly profile and soft touch surface, giving users a large, easy-to-locate and easy-to-operate switching surface for both circuits. This is particularly practical in aged care and NDIS accessible installations where multiple circuits — such as a room light and a bedside light, or a light and a ceiling fan — need to be switched accessibly from the same wall position.

The SW2/LDXN is the complete loaded version — XL dolly mechanisms, actuators, and plate are all included and assembled, ready to wire and fix to the wall. This distinguishes it from the SW2PL/LDXN plate-only version, which is the grid plate and cover only. The XL (LDXN) format has a larger dolly profile than the standard Large Dolly (LDN) format — both the SW2/LDXN and SW2/LDN are complete loaded switches at 16A 250V, but the SW2/LDXN provides the larger XL rocker profile.

An important installation note from the manufacturer: the switch mechanisms in the Tesla Large Dolly range cannot be reconfigured after installation. The correct switch type for each gang position must be confirmed at the time of ordering and cannot be changed on site.
