The A4GSW is the highest gang count in the Tesla Classic Series architrave switch range — four independent switching circuits in a 35mm wide plate, 145mm long. It is the go-to solution where the maximum number of circuits needs to be controlled from a single narrow architrave location, without the bulk or footprint of a standard multi-gang plate.

Four circuits from one architrave position is a practical option in situations such as controlling multiple lighting zones, a combination of lighting and exhaust fans, or several independently switched loads from the one narrow wall position beside a door frame. The compact 35mm width means the plate fits comfortably within the architrave strip even in standard door frame setups where wall space is minimal.

The A4GSW shares its outer plate dimensions (145mm × 35mm × 30mm) and mounting centres (124mm) with the A3GSW — Tesla fits both 3 and 4 rocker positions within the same overall footprint by adjusting rocker spacing. Like all Tesla Classic Series architrave switches, the A4GSW is a vertical-mount-only complete assembly with its own dedicated narrow faceplate. Standard architrave type plates from the broader Tesla range cannot be fitted to this switch body.
