CEE FORM QX1004 4 Pin 16 Amp Appliance Inlet IEC309 IP67
Electrotraders USPs
Description
A high-current three-phase panel-mount inlet.
The QIXING QX3656 is a CEE Form appliance inlet rated 4 pin, 63A, 400V three phase, with an IP67 weatherproof rating. It is a panel-mounted IEC 60309-2 inlet – the connector fixed through a cut-out in an enclosure or panel so that a matching CEE Form lead or connector can be plugged in to supply power. The 4 pin configuration carries three phases plus earth, making it suited to higher-current three-phase equipment. These are European-standard industrial connectors conforming to EN/IEC 60309-2, used wherever a robust, weatherproof connection is required. The 6h clock position keys the connector to its voltage band, helping prevent connection to an incompatible supply.

What a Panel-Mount Appliance Inlet Does
An appliance inlet is the male connector mounted onto a piece of equipment, allowing a matching CEE Form lead or extension socket to be plugged in and supply power. The QX3656 is the panel-mount version: it fits through a cut-out so the body sits inside the enclosure and the connector face is flush with the panel. A surface-mount style is also available where the inlet mounts onto the outside of an enclosure.
Built for Higher-Current Three-Phase Use
With four pins carrying three phases plus earth, the QX3656 supplies three-phase equipment at 400V and 63A. Rated IP67, it is protected against dust and the effects of temporary immersion in water, making it suitable for outdoor, wash-down and demanding industrial locations. As an IEC 60309-2 connector it follows the international pin-and-sleeve standard, so it interconnects reliably with other IEC 60309 equipment of the same rating and configuration.
Keyed for Safety
The 6h clock position refers to the keyed position of the earth contact under IEC 60309, which corresponds to the connector’s voltage band. This keying helps ensure the inlet only connects with a matching lead of the correct voltage rating and configuration.
Q: What is the QX3656 appliance inlet used for?
A: It is the male connector fixed through an enclosure panel so a matching CEE Form lead or socket can plug in to supply power. The QX3656 is the panel-mount, 4 pin 63A three-phase version.
Q: What is the difference between the QX3656 and the QX357?
A: The QX3656 is panel mount (flush through a cut-out) while the QX357 is surface mount (onto the outside of an enclosure). Both are 4 pin 63A 400V three-phase IP67 inlets.
Q: What does IP67 mean for this inlet?
A: IP67 means it is fully protected against dust and can withstand temporary immersion in water, suiting outdoor and wash-down environments.
