The GEN3 SC315 is a 3-pin, 15A fixed surface socket outlet rated 250V and IP66, built for outdoor, industrial and wash-down environments. As a fixed (non-switched) outlet, it provides a clean, simple socket point that is live whenever its circuit is energised, while the 15A rating accepts larger appliances and equipment fitted with a 15A plug. Moulded in the Series 56 style from durable PCA18 virgin-grade plastic, it stands up to dust, water and the demands of harsh sites.

Fixed, Switched or Auto-Switched?

The SC315 is a fixed socket: it has no switch, so the outlet is live whenever its circuit is energised. If you need on-site isolation at the socket, the auto-switched SCA315 switches automatically without a separate switch. Choosing the right type depends on whether and how you want to isolate the outlet locally.

15A for Larger Loads

The 15A rating, with its wider earth pin, accepts 15A plugs used on higher-draw equipment such as caravans, compressors and large portable appliances, where the 10A SC310 would not suit. It delivers the same rugged, weatherproof build at the higher current rating.
