GEN3 24 Way Pole Weatherproof Switchboard Load Centre RCBO MCB Din Rail IP65
Electrotraders USPs
Description
A full-size weatherproof distribution board.
The GEN3 DB24-IP66 is a twenty-four-module weatherproof switchboard and load centre, sealed to IP66 so it can house a full set of DIN-rail circuit protection such as MCBs and RCBOs in exposed locations. Made from durable PCA18 plastic, it suits larger outdoor sub-boards and mains boards on rural properties, workshops, sheds, pump stations and commercial sites where plenty of circuits need protecting outdoors.

Built for Larger Outdoor Installations
Unlike a standard indoor load centre, the DB24-IP66 is sealed to IP66, meaning it is dust-tight and withstands high-pressure water jets from any direction. With twenty-four module spaces, it has the capacity for a full distribution job, making it well suited to rural mains boards, workshops, pump stations and commercial outdoor distribution where moisture and dust would quickly compromise an open indoor board.
Tidy, Compliant Distribution
The board accepts standard DIN-rail devices, so an electrician can populate it with the right mix of MCBs and RCBOs for the job, behind a sealed gasketed lid. Moulded from PCA18 virgin-grade plastic, it is covered by Australian/NZ approval or compliance certificates and is interchangeable with other major brands.
Q: What does the IP66 rating on the GEN3 DB24-IP66 mean?
A: IP66 means the enclosure is completely dust-tight and protected against high-pressure water jets, making it suitable for outdoor and wash-down installations.
Q: How many devices does the DB24-IP66 hold?
A: It accommodates up to twenty-four single-module DIN-rail devices such as MCBs. Wider devices, including some RCBOs and main switches, take more than one module, so the practical count can be fewer than twenty-four.
Q: What is the difference between the DB24-IP66 and the smaller weatherproof boards?
A: Capacity. The DB24-IP66 takes up to twenty-four single-module devices, against nine for the DB9-IP66 and six for the DB6-IP66. All are sealed IP66 weatherproof boards for outdoor use.
