This 40FFPMS-TN mechanism is part of the modern Clipsal Iconic range - a slim, sleek, customisable wiring accessory system designed to blend in with any room. The TV socket clips into any Clipsal Iconic grid plate (sold separately) and pairs with your choice of Iconic skin, so the AV outlet matches the rest of the switch plates and power points in the space.

It is the clean, push-fit way to terminate the F-type screw-on coaxial run from your roof antenna, MATV system or satellite dish at a tidy PAL outlet on the wall. Run F-type screw-on connectors through the wall cavity, terminate one end at the 40PFM-TN F-type front, and use this 40FFPMS-TN to break out a PAL antenna face wherever the TV connects. Both ends look clean, and the F-type screw-thread keeps signal loss to a minimum.

How does this differ from the 40PFM-TN? The 40PFM-TN has F-type connectors on both sides (front and rear), so it acts as a pass-through F-type junction. This 40FFPMS-TN has a PAL female on the front and an F-type on the rear - so the customer-facing side accepts the standard PAL TV antenna lead that comes with most televisions. Choose the 40PFM-TN where you want F-type on the wall (cleaner signal, screw-thread retention) and the 40FFPMS-TN where the user just wants to plug in a regular TV antenna lead.

Compatible accessories you may need:

• A Clipsal Iconic grid plate (1 gang or larger) to hold the mechanism on the wall.
• A Clipsal Iconic skin cover in your chosen colour from the Clipsal Iconic range.
• A length of RG-6 coaxial cable with F-type screw connector terminations to run between this outlet and your antenna feed point.
