Where the CC2010C Corrugated Conduit Fits

Corrugated flexible conduit provides mechanical protection and a clean routing path for cables in installations where rigid conduit would be impractical. The CC2010C is the 20mm medium duty variant — the most commonly specified size for residential and light commercial wiring applications including protecting TPS cable runs in roof spaces and wall cavities, routing air conditioning refrigerant and electrical cables together along wall surfaces and through ceiling penetrations, bundling and protecting control and data cables in exposed runs, and providing a flexible conduit section at equipment connection points where vibration or movement is present.

The UV stabilised PVC construction makes the CC2010C appropriate for above-ground outdoor runs — on external walls, in roof spaces with roof light exposure, and in other locations where UV degradation of standard PVC would be a concern. The grey colour is the standard electrical conduit colour consistent with other grey PVC conduit fittings and accessories. The corrugated wall profile allows the conduit to flex and bend around obstacles without kinking, while providing sufficient crush resistance for the medium duty classification.

The CC2010C is not rated for direct underground burial with 240V wiring — underground mains wiring applications require conduit specifically rated for direct burial. For surface-mounted and concealed above-ground applications, the CC2010C is the correct specification. The 10 metre coil is the standard trade quantity for single-job use — larger 25m and 50m rolls are also available for higher-volume requirements.
