The GEN3 SC520 is a 5-pin, 20A fixed surface socket outlet with round pins, rated 500V three-phase and IP66, built for outdoor, industrial and wash-down environments. The five round pins carry three phases, a neutral and earth, providing a keyed connection point for three-phase equipment that also requires a neutral, and a standard single-phase flat plug cannot be connected. At 20A, it serves higher-current three-phase points than the 10A SC510. As a fixed (non-switched) outlet, it is live whenever its circuit is energised. Moulded in the Series 56 style from durable PCA18 virgin-grade plastic, it stands up to dust, water and demanding sites.

The SC520's five round pins carry three active phases, a neutral and earth. The neutral pin is what sets the 5-pin socket apart from the 4-pin (three phases plus earth only): it suits three-phase equipment that also needs a neutral connection, such as where single-phase loads are taken from the three-phase supply.
