The mounting block sits on the wall face and provides the depth behind the plate for cable housing and the fixing centres for the plate screws. The MB18 is the 18mm depth option — 2mm deeper than the MB16 — providing slightly more internal depth behind the plate for cable housing while maintaining a low-profile appearance off the wall surface.

The MB18 suits single outlet plates only — one power point or one switch plate per block. Multiple fixing points on the block allow the mounting screws to be positioned to suit different wall fixing requirements. Short mounting screws are supplied with each block for securing the wall plate to the block face. Both horizontal and vertical mounting positions are supported.
