Why use an insulated busbar

A busbar carries the supply across multiple protective devices in one solid link, instead of cutting and terminating individual wire loops between each RCBO. That means faster assembly, fewer terminations to fail, and a neater board. The insulated body shrouds the conductor, leaving only the connection tabs exposed for safer handling during installation and maintenance.

Matched to the GEN3 G60 system

The BUS14G6 is designed specifically for the GEN3 G60x2 double pole RCBO range, so the pitch and tab spacing align with those modules. It is fed using the matching GEN3 busbar terminal (TERMG6000). Use it when building or extending a GEN3 distribution board populated with G60x2 safety switches.

Q: What RCBOs does the BUS14G6 suit?
A: It is designed for the GEN3 G60x2 double pole RCBO range. Confirm device compatibility and the number of poles spanned against your board layout before installation.

Q: How is the busbar fed?
A: It connects to the supply using the matching GEN3 busbar feed terminal, TERMG6000, available separately.

Q: Does the busbar need to be installed by a licensed electrician?
A: Yes. Busbars and RCBOs form part of a switchboard and must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with AS/NZS 3000.
