Keeps protection devices weatherproof

Circuit breakers and RCDs are not weatherproof on their own. The CBC4P encloses them in an IP66-rated cover, sealing out dust and water so the protective device can be mounted outdoors or in wet and dusty areas. Without a cover like this, an exposed MCB or RCD is vulnerable to moisture ingress, corrosion of the contacts and nuisance tripping.
