The GEN3 SCA315LB is a 15A, 3-pin flat auto-switched fixed socket outlet rated 250V single phase and IP66. As an auto-switched outlet it automatically connects power when a plug is inserted and disconnects when the plug is withdrawn, so there are no live pins exposed when nothing is plugged in – a useful safety feature in exposed and public locations. It is supplied less base, meaning the socket front is provided without a back box, ready to be fitted into an existing enclosure or a separately-purchased base. Moulded in the Series 56 style from durable PCA18 virgin-grade plastic, it suits outdoor, industrial and wash-down environments.
