Where the PSA50C Plain to Screwed Adaptor Fits

The PSA50C terminates 50mm plain rigid PVC conduit into enclosures, switchboards, and junction boxes. The 50mm conduit size is specified in larger commercial and industrial installations where the volume of cables, large cable cross-sections (such as main sub-board feeds and large three-phase circuits), or conduit fill ratio requirements demand the largest standard rigid PVC conduit diameter. Typical applications include main switchboard conduit entries, large multi-cable sub-mains runs, industrial machine installations, and commercial projects with significant cable counts entering a single enclosure.

Installation follows the same sequence as all PSA series adaptors: slide the adaptor over the conduit end (plain socket end first), pass the threaded end through the enclosure entry hole, thread the locknut onto the screwed end from inside the enclosure and tighten to secure. Bond the conduit end to the adaptor socket with conduit cement on the plain socket side for a permanent connection.

Smaller sizes PSA20C (20mm), PSA25C (25mm), PSA32C (32mm), and PSA40C (40mm) are available for smaller conduit runs. All are Rylec grey PVC with locknut included.
