The gland body threads through the panel hole and is locked in place with a locknut on the inside — the clamping mechanism then grips the cable and compresses the internal rubber seal against the cable outer sheath, providing both a mechanical strain relief and an environmental seal at the cable entry point.

The NCG50A is a premium nylon PA66 cable gland with EPDM rubber seal — rated IP68 and submersible to 50 metres. IP68 is the highest standard for ingress protection against water — the gland provides a watertight seal suitable for outdoor, underground, and marine installations where the enclosure may be partially or fully submerged.
