Sized for higher-current distribution
At 50A the MX9MC250 is well matched to sub-mains feeds, workshop and machinery boards, and installations where multiple downstream RCBOs sit behind a single upstream breaker. Tunnel-type terminals accept up to 35mm² rigid conductors with a 3.5 N.m tightening torque for a solid, gas-tight connection on heavier cables.
Tamper-resistant switchboards
From 40A upwards, MAX9 MCBs include a through-hole for sealing by wire — useful where switchboard access needs to be verifiable, such as landlord, tenanted or asset-management boards. The device is also compatible with the A9A26970 padlocking accessory.
Fast, flexible installation
Line connection can be taken from either the top or bottom, and the breaker is compatible with the MAX9 18mm pitch pin-type busbar system. A double locking clip speeds mounting and removal on the DIN rail. Endurance is rated at 20,000 mechanical and 10,000 electrical cycles.
