A 4 pin round 10 Amp extension lead supplies 415V three phase power through three actives and an earth, with no neutral pin. Available from 2m to 60m in two cable grades, each lead is assembled in our workshop, then individually tested and tagged.

Four core H07 grade rubber flex gives this lead its resistance to UV, oil and weather, its flame retardant rating and its 200m submersible rating, and the slimmer 4 core construction keeps it light to run out and coil up. Typical duties range from generators, motors and compressors through to concrete cutting equipment on construction sites, plus temporary cabling at events, fairgrounds and sporting venues, all sealed behind IP66 rated plugs and sockets.

Heavy Duty or Extra Heavy Duty? The Heavy Duty 2.5mm² grade is rated at 27 Amps to AS/NZS 3008.1.1.2009 Table 14, nearly three times the 10 Amp rating of this lead. Stepping up to Extra Heavy Duty 4mm² brings maximum DC resistance down from 8.21 to 5.09 ohms/KM, so less voltage is lost over distance, a worthwhile upgrade on 40m to 60m runs and for equipment fussy about supply voltage.
